Default MY06 Fuel Pressure Reg Fitting

Has any one fitted a Fuel Lab pressure reg to the 2.5 wrx engine? If so any advice and especially pictures/diagrams would be welcome.
Thanks,
Taylor.

Might be worth asking in General Technical.

Its my mates car and he's running a 20g turbo on 505 injectors and they are running max duty, so basically to increase the presssure a little and reduce the duty. Its more of a safety feature really to make sure there are no interuptions or glitches in fuel pressure.

Very true and we're doing a good job of keeping it at the top.

Out of interest, how much do these cost then? Wouldn't it just be cheaper to get new injectors??

Right, basically we know how to take the original out of the system and bypass it with the connecter provided, and how to reroute the vacuum (which goes onto the top of the fpr). What we need to find out is which pipe is the inlet (which goes into the side of the fpr) and which is the return (which connects to the bottom of the fpr). I think the return is the pipe which comes from the lower of the three solid metal pipe feeds from the n/s of the inlet manifold, but which is the inlet?
Any labelling of the following diagram would be greatly appreciated.

The Fuel Lab FPR is £195.75 inc VAT and 550 injectors are around the £400 mark. Also the Fuel lab has a gauge and is adjustable for more accurate monitoring/setting of the fuel pressure.

Great a gauge that only needs a rolling road to use properly !

LOL

DunxC

P.S. It's set under load, not at idle ? IIRC
