Not an Ra......has the ariel on the rear quarter and has a rear wiper.

The ariel would be on the door pillar on an Ra.

It does read that this car is not an STI,RA and just a WRX. I would be a bit concerned that it as had a face lift front end,thou it does look better.He also go's on to mention that the car is a limited edition with a roof vent,which i find a little odd so you must check the GC8 number fitted to the car on the n/s/f suspension mount under bonnet.Good luck mate.

The RA code would be GC8C47D but seeing as its a WRX it will be GC8C48D

Wrong number stu.It's the model code your after mate,for example
GC8G2FD number is from a 2000 WRX STI type R WRC V/LTD.

Yes thats fine i can answer that for you, its from when i had the facelift bonnet and vents painted, also front bumper. They were painted around 8 month ago, as these dont come facelift untill after like a 99 i think.

so it is a wrx.

That code is from a 1994/95 WRX,and the same code appears 1995/96 WRX,but with the car being a M reg it's likely to be a 1994/95,and both models are 260 BHP 228lb per ft.

Their was abit of confusion of a WRX having a roof vent and badged up has a RA daft lad so stu was asking the question, for all we no it could have been a bit dodgey.Now that model code proves what it actually is.
