Question

Cannot help with the question

How's the car, are you glad you got it???

Did you manage to sort the rustproofing or had it already had it done??

I dont think its been done buddy so Ill get it sorted! Loving the car, I just want to be in it 24/7! I was up at half 6 this morning cleaning the engine bay! Cant wait to do interior and exterior! My lass is using it for work now though so cant do it until tomorrow It has got the DCCD or ADCCD whatever it is where it can be auto or manual! New mats are in,wipers and lamps to follow then front splitter once it arrives!

Scangauge II can be set up to read MPG, plugs direct into the serial port below the steering wheel.

The best way to do your everage mpg on a full tank is as follows...

Fill your tank to the brim
Drive around till nearly empty
Fill your tank to the brim again
Note down the amount of miles you covered
Note down the amount of litres it took to fill back up
Divide the litres by 4.546 (1 gallon)
Divide the miles by your awnser
Your awnser will be your MPG

Heres an example :-
252.3 Miles
52.73 Litres

52.73 divide by 4.546 = 11.59 Gallons
252.3 divide by 11.59 = 21.76 MPG

yes, sorry fellas I know how to calculate, I was just wondering if the trip computer gave you a reading as everyone goes on about MPG. Seems like Subarus dont have that facility though! Id have thought they had average speed etc? Most cars nowdays do? Never mind Ill do it the old fasioned way! Filled it last night with V-Power I think it was £57 about 115.9 ltr Ill see how long it lasts! Thanks for the info though anyway, helps always appreciated.
