oh no sorry to hear your news Jamie, main thing is you walked away alright if somewhat shaken.
Hope you get another one soon, when you do send me a pic and I'll stick it on my site.
I know it's not any consolation but I hurt my car the other day, as did a number of people in the snow

Jamie,
I hadn't heard, just happy your OK. My wife has suffered with spinal problems for over 10 years due to an accident in the fog.
I know its sad to loose a car you have spent a lot of time and money on but to walk away is the main thing.
Hope you get another Scoob sorted.

Yee-ouch!
Sure that Explorer wasn't running away from itself? I hear they tend to do that.
As above, the best thing is you're OK. Cars, much as we jest otherwise, really are only secondary.
Mine's on it's way too, as I'm selling it to move abroad.
But we're sure you'll be back; bigger, faster, stronger (we can rebuild him etc)...

Thers not much i can add to what i have already said, been there seen it got the t-shirt, just glad you or your passengers, or anybody else were not hurt, at the end of the day, a car is just metal, and can be repaired or replaced, people cant.
The physical aches and pains will go, the mental ones may linger a while, but they will go too !
Blimey, that was serious, even for me LOL

Sorry to hear about this but glad you're ok. I had a much loved VW Golf that collided with a truck back in May last year. The damage looked similar to your car. Fortunately I walked away with only a broken rib.
On the positive side, it did mean that I finally bought my scoob which I had been lusting after for years. Hopefully something good will come out of this for you as it did in my case
Take care, merlin

I've always admired the look of your subie. The graphics were bold without being excessive.
Glad you are still in one piece and I hope your next chosen car/friend/mate looks even better.

Glad you are OK and sorry about the Scoob. Nice that a SUV gets it for a change tho!
(Bet Rum is breathing a sigh of relief - one he DIDN'T insure for a change.....)

:eek - sorry to hear that SG. Here I was thinking you were invincible in your black beauty...
Subaru must make real tough cars, these Explorers are heavy buggers.
Hope it works out. You probably feel pretty down right now, so as a present to yourself you should consider one of them MY02's or sumthing
Take care.

Could've been lots worse SubieGal, you might've sold it to buy an Evo VI It's good to know that Scoobs are tough, you never know when you're going to test how tough, I wiped out a VW Corrado against a tree (it was on the road, not me in a field ) and it's a horrible feeling to lose a great car like that. Even more so when the loaner you get is a Proton Sh1theap 1.4
