Mine is bolted and bonded, just for extra insurance, but it was the worst thing i have done to my car - looks great, but the wind noise is just horrible. I wouldn't ever fit another one.

Had one on my old Scoob (bugeye). Its was bolted and bonded on. The bolt should go through where the interior light is fitted or it did on mine so I didn't need to touch the roof lining.

Noise wise yes it did make a noise but I just turned the stereo up or listenened to the Scooby burble .
