Default Problem with wheels?

Just wanted to know if anyone could diagnose something for me...

Basically I'm getting a squeaky noise from the front passenger side (not overly loud but still noticeable).
It's coming from the front passenger wheel (me thinks) as I can only hear the squeaking when in motion. When I slow down, the squeaking starts to die down...

If anyone could enlighten me as to what may be causing the noise, it'll be much appreaciated

Might be a wheel bearing, could be a CV joint, possibly even a drive shaft. Does it get worse if you turn in one direction ?

Yeh i sort of suspected it might be wheel bearing, my m8 says it shouldn't be the CV joint as when that plays up it's more of a clonking noise?!

The noise I get is very similar to when you are braking with worn pads... only not as loud

No, the noise doesn't seem to get worse (in fact, I think it stops, but its hard to notice due to the burble ) when I'm turning...
It only seems to get worse with increased velocity.

What model? Dunno about later cars, but the classics suffered from stones getting trapped between the disc and the protective inner cover, resulting in a squeak when the car moved.

Take the wheel off and have a look.

Might just need some copper grease putting on the back of your brake pads
