tappets
i have a w reg awd turbo could anybody tell me if it is fitted with hydrolic tappets or shimmed tappets.pls

orite fella.ive also got a wreg wagon and thats seems to be making a slight ticking/tapping noise is this a bad thing or is it easly fixed im new to it all as u can tell.

It will be Shimmed buckets - Outer Shim for UK spec and Under Bucket Shim
for the STi's.
Later one's have Selective Buckets.

merlin24 - well done, I have always wondered if it had hydraulic tappets - I didn't think it had as there has never been a tap in 85,000miles
