what is the difference

can someone tell me what the difference between a sti v5 and a sti v6.

Only cosmetic changes i think.....although on a mates version 6 sti type r you have to depress the clutch to start it.

Front lip and lip on rear spoiler are different.

front lip, rear spoiler, press the clutch to start.

mayb a few vv small engine changes, but i dont think so

Was it between the V5 and the V6 that the bumper changed from three to two slots, and the lights went to crystal?

mine is a v5 i think they changed it in 1997.

Different ignition coil pack, still on manifold but moved to the passenger side slightly and different HT lead ends, also the BOV went to intercooler not pipe mounted....
