as you do, everybody tried to race me!!
my scooby is a standard uk turbo (other than exhaust)
every slightly fast car came up my bumper and tried it on

new shape TT
integra type R
civic type R
200sx

needless to say i smoked them all!!
the most suprising one was the new TT, he really kept up with me.
only a cars lenght in it over half a mile or so!!

anybody had any interesting races recently?

Surprisingly before I brought my Scooby I was told u will get chavs in corsa's trying it on and everything and if not u will get the police stopping u. Didn't deter me.

Brought the car in Bradford and straight away I had a P@%#K IN A pug go slow 206 cut me up badly but other than that nothing.

I would be careful what you post to be honest. The day you innocently plow thought a cue at a bus stop is the day the police start using your posts as a proof of conduct as it were. Seems far fetched but I recall the thread from the guy in the ITR on PH. Its hard to argue the context of the above when its used as evidence of your driving attitude.

Clown... The thread started off quite sensible....
The roads are not your personal racetrack...

I just set of at a normal speed, whilst the chav is wheel spinning for England.

I just chuckle to myself muttering **** as he accelerates away.

best thing is other drivers look at me and shake their heads, makes me sooo much happier.

Same here i just let them go and hope to see them down the road in a mangled pile of scrap still havnt yet.

Or on the other hand if say little corsaboy gets a little to close at the lights and giving it some revs, then on comes the Anti Lag just dab the load peddle and BOOM BANG BANG BOOM and big flame all over his pile of 5hite switch it off and say now **** off and leave me alone

Cracks me up when the 'middle aged boy racers' get right up your *** in there saab or vectra on there way home from the office......i just go real slow and annoy them even more!

The car i was most suprised about keeping up with me was a new mini cooper s, that thing was seriously fast and had some tuning package i think.

Tried getting away from a Monaro once...........

Thats what I do.. much more amusing seeing them getting angry and not being able to do anything about it. Obviously, one day someone will try to drive 'through' me when I try this....... which is when I'll just drive away into the distance.

Cheers,
Grant

You need a bigger van. The rage can be a lot more fun.

I havent had many people try it on since I sold the scoob and got an ITR.

I miss the traffic light grand prix. I dont know why it doesnt happen anymore as the ITR attracts more attention than my scoob as it was a wagon. AND its not as quick so more beatable...
