Knocking Noise
I've had my scooby for a couple of weeks now. I've just started to hear like a slight knocking noise from the rear. It's not continous or loud and only seems to do it when I've had car running for a while.
Car is going into garage very shortly and I've made them aware of this. Just wondered if you might hav any clues. Only thing I can think of is rear bushes or something to to do with rear diff (hope not)

i had the same problem 06 sti and they changed the rear struts but its still there, tok it back and they couldnt find anything wrong but said it could just be the diff as they can make a few odd noises.Although the knock is by no means loud it is a bit annoying and is very intermittant

The classic strut issues will rear their head regardless of whether the car is cold or not.
Other than the diff it could be the exhaust system which will extend when warm and possible knock
