Not a bad vid that, like the look of the inside, although that S drive thingy looks complicated, well to me it does, lol

Still hate the looks of it especially the rear lights.if i was going to buy a hot hatch it would prob along the affordability of a ST or Megane r27.

I think the wheels look a bit small for the car and the arches,in a funny sort of way reminds me of old metro 6r4 and lancia delta, don,t know why.

The front isn't too bad but the back is a cross between an X3 and a few other cars - and for gods sake change those rear lights

I think the front looks spot on, its just the hatchback idea I cant get my head round, Just hope Subaru bring a Saloon version out next year as if it has the STi wide arches and a big spoiler on the back in a saloon form, then I reckon it could look very nice!!!!

I agree it will be "Special" in the hothatch market but mybe too "Hot" on the Pocket

Although it is sposed to have far better engine and handling than the outgoing models

Guys,

I have found reason for the rear lights !!! is all about lost in translation

If you change

"The rear light look like F***** dogs dinner, gay and chav"

from english to Japaneese

"sono ato ranpu shisen douyou kannouteki, kirabiyaka ken kaisekiryouri "

But translate that back to english

"The rear lights are like a S3xy banquet, happy and fashionable"

So they think we love them

I've been driving around in the new WRX for the last couple of days, and IMO it handles better than the out going model, hopefully it will translate over to the STI too.
I've been led to believe UK STI's will come in at two price levels, entry model at about £25-26k and fully loaded at about £30k (these prices are not confirmed).
Oh, and the new stereo's are a marked improvement, not differcult as the old ones were bobbins!!!

I drove the S-GT some months back with std 17"'s and handling wasn,t great but you could feel its potential. Apparently 18"'s and lowered by 25mm it handles brilliantly

alledgally the £30K version has satnav, recardos seats, heated mirrors and possibly a different front bumper and grille

Ah, the good old die harders.

Looks this, looks that, blah blah

You probably went through the same emotions when the classic model was replaced.

Did you get over that too?

Have you noticed something ?

The photo that subaru sent to Top Gear of the all new impreza was dark and you could hardly make out the car, this video is dark and you can hardly make out the car.

I wonder why subaru don`t want us to see this car in the light of day

Default wtf

There really is no hiding the fact that this car visually is a right dogs dinner, a mish mash of mundane styling. Also I would have hoped that the standard power output would have been increased more to keep ahead of the competition. Those thinking of buying one may take a big hit in depreciation when subaru realise they have another bugeye situation and redesign it.Save money and buy mazda3 mps a significantly cheaper fast minger!

i hate myself. Its starting to grow on me and dare i say, im starting to like it. Some of those side on shots in the vid remind me of the Lancia Delta Integrale with the massive flared arches

i still think, make a 3 door version, put fog covers on, and red rear lamps, and thatd be a pant wettingly gorgeous hardcore motor.... brutal and functional and all the better looking for it

I have to agree, the fog lights silver surround does look like a Hellfrauds add ons and allegally there was two people in england that liked the rear light but I think that was just Hype

Also allegally in the UK the front bumber will match WRC car which should cure that problem.

Personally I don't think the Nazda3 will be in the same league as the STi
