Default boost guage fitting - quickie!!!!

hi guys,

just a quick question or two.....

Am fitting a boost guage this afternoon to a MY03 sti..... where is the best place to plub the vacume pipe... i would have thought into the DV hose (as per all the cossies and rst's ive had in the past) but the hose seems a much larger bore than the t-piece i have????!!!!!

also, where is the best place to get a feed for the backlight??

cheers in advance.

Deffo the dump valve pipe - tee into the small one from the dump valve to the inlet manifold. As for back lighting, I tapped into the night illumination for one of the fog lamp switches, but that was on a classic.

The DV pipe is way too big for the t-piece though, and as its a harder rubber (unlike a samco vacume pipe) its never gonna clamp without a leak..... is there no other pipe i can tap into???!!!!!! Help!!!! LOL

I didnt use the T-piece.

I just plumbed the vacuum hose straight to the spare nipple on the inlet manifold

the small DV pipe goes into the left of the 3 inlet pipes (95 classic) but I remember hearing on hear that u can use one of the others for boost gauge.

cant remember if its middle or right hand one tho
