Default gauges

hi all.had a boost gauge and oil temp gauge fitted last friday.took them 5 hours to fit them.half way home i decided to put my foot down and noticed that the boost gauge went berserk it started flickering i allso noticed that the oil temp gauge was still on 40 then i started to smell oil so i pulled over but couldn't see nothing because it was gettin dark.in the mornin i had a look and the t piece was leaking on to the turbo housing so now i've gotta go back to wales 125 miles and 50 quids worth of juice to get it fixed but before i do does anyone know why the boost gauge is irratik and not smooth could it be a leak or something cause i aint gotta clue why non of the gauge's work any feed back on this would be great

i think they've tapped into the dv if you slowly put your foot down the boost gauge flickers a bit then sorts itself out but if you floor it it goes crazy as for the oil temp gauge just under the alternater they've tapped into the block and ran a metal flexi pipe intio a t piece i dont think they've used a sandwich plate tho. sorry i caint explain it very well ive tried to post some pics but it aint happenin looks like its a trip back to demon tweeks on friday i guess!!!!!

try turning the T-piece around 180 degree's and fit the pipes of the D/V feed on the opposite way to what they are fitted now,if you get what i meen, some t-pieces have some sort of restrictor in them,to allow for a clean build up of pressure i do beleive
