....Or more specifically my scoob vs my mates supra. The supra is an auto and is pretty much standard except for an exhaust, my scoob is slightly modded and can be viewed by clicking veiw my scoob.

Only one way to find out for sure!

But Supras seem to be at their best at higher speeds, and can be differcult to launch well, so as long as you got a good start I reckon you'd cross the line before his car properly got into it's stride.

i raced a supra at santa pod tbh i had a crap start (my first time up the strip) put i was catchin him up till about 3 gear i was level with him then he was gone but when i asked him what he had done all he said was loads mate

I got an andy forrest hybrid aswell, swirls up lovely and pulls hard, having taken my m8s supra for 3 days to test drive it as i was looking to use it as a everyday car so want to find out, Really lovely cars and imo best car ive driven, The autos are a bit lazy of the mark but when getting going they dont hold back, so imo i think even if you get a good start he will just have you. Only one way to find out though.

Im sure i read somewhere with a decat a Supra tt can make near 400bhp? And you needed to do something else to the car to stop it from over boosting?

Supra would cross first.
Supras are crap to launch so the scooby would get be able to create some distance between the 2, but once the supra has found some grip then its goodbye scooby im affraid.
There really rapid once they get going.

when the scooby hits 3rd the supra will be gaining fast. When driving the supra i found that they dont feel fast due to the power delivery being smooth, but never under estimate the supra, cant wait to get one.

i ended up having a good race with my mates supra auto tt, when i eventually raced him i had 310bhp and he had 396 bhp, it was from about 30mph upwards down a long open road, the gap between us stayed exactly the same.

but what top end did you both reach, as you have a hybrid so it will pick up alot better than the supra as it being an auto,

I launched crap when I raced a Supra at the pod last year. Video quality is poor, as it was shot on our old digi camera.
