Yeah - what you're missing is the fact that you wouldn't need a fill up if you hadn't been driving all over North London looking for V power or tesco 99 !!

Cruel but funny.

Yes mate, as per a few other threads there is a shortage of SUL fuels at the mo. BP seem to be the most promising to get fuel from over the past couple of weeks.

Dunno if this is relevant, but this was the way it went over here , 1st lack of sul, 2.then none.then plain old 95octane.

The government over here wanted more tax for their pockets.

So now no sul in Ireland.

wonder if its happening with you guys now?

The Government get more taxes from the higher priced Super ---- so why should the Government be behind it?

Sounds a bit Irish to me

Feckin typical !!! I am driving over for christmas and you have no bloody fuel left, everytime I come over to the UK there is no feckin decent fuel (and I use the term decent fuel in the broadest sense of the term) maybe I should bring my own like last time I came over.

What the hell is happening in the UK it used to be a world super power! now it seems to be a 3rd world communist dump.

Yes pete only you would not see the point. let me spell it out in simple words.

Gov+ tax = high fuel prices
petrol companies + high tax means no profit
so sul is pulled from pumps.

there yah go petey..
that plain enough for yah?

Must be another Peteism in action!

waits for reply
