WALES RALLY GB
Any plans or info anyone? its not long now!
I ordered my tickets yesterday, I really hope that the tickets get delivered, I had to go and get mine from the stadium last year at 4am on friday morning on the way down from Surrey to the stages despite paying for them months before, they couldnt organise a p**s up in a b*****y last time, hope its better now,
Any thoughts for a tribute to Colin while we are there?
Just looking forward to a great weekend tho

Forget the rally of 50 miles from Swansea and go to Ireland. Two weeks earlier and no **** taking stage entrance prices, it's free to spectate. Oh and it's tarmac which is just so much more exciting to watch.

is it? How many time do you see the cars sideways on tarmac? Gravel all the way for me...slideways to victory!!
You should get into F1 mate, watching cars go round in circles for a couple of hours. To me its the most boring thing in the world, saved this year only by teams cheating and therefore "livening it up"

Oh btw, last year a guy on here designed those A4 poster things for the windows with usernames on them. Is the same thing hapening again this year and have an image of Colin McRae instead?

Ordered my tickets ages ago and there tucked up safe in my draw.
Going to the Saturday event.
Been to Halfway for the last 2 years, might try something different this year, any recommendations?
BTW, can't wait!!!!

> WRC forestry gravel stages are boring???????
Not sure who said that, it wasn't me, I just said tarmac stage rallying was more exciting. And it is for me, the sight of a WRC car power sliding round a tight hairpin is just the best thing in the world. Have you seen the clubby rallying from Ireland? Imagine that and ten times better because it's the WRC crowd. It'll be wild.
And free to spectate. I've been spectating on the RAC since about 1978 and the thought of paying **** loads of cash to stand in a spectator enclosure just doesn't appeal. I appreciate that if you missed this era you think modern events are great but give yourself a break and go and watch some proper rallying, Belgium, Corsica, Rally Germany even, and now maybe Rally Ireland.
