Question Just Bought MY06 WRX but it aint got no burble????

Hi Folks Newbie Here.

Just got MY06 WRX a couple of weeks ago this being my first Scooby.

loving the sound that a scooby makes as it passes you that deep burble well mine aint got that ..... everything is standard. why do i have no burble? and what can i do to get this burble? was thinking of changing exhaust but have no idea what one to get dont want to sound like a fiesta with a 6" tall pipe just looking for some deep burble.

Cheers

My old classic was like this.I just fitted a Magnex Oval backbox and it transformed the noise.

Loads of choice is depends on how loud you won't it, the design and how deep your pockets are

I'm more of a fan of the big jap systems instead of the Hayward and scott types etc.

Lose the deresonated center section, that sure brings the burble back, mine is mated to a Prodrive backbox and its sounds just right.

Do a search there are loads of threads on this.

As above, you need to lose the resonated centre section first as this seriously dampens the sound of the exhaust on the 06.

A good backbox is the next option. Depends how loud you want it really.

no, the newer cars still have un-equal headers, they just have a quieter exhaust system than they used to

Loads of options for you as the guys say.
After some research, I opted for fitting my 2004 WRX with a de-resonated centre section and a tsl group n backbox. Lovely piece of kit.
See my scooby for pics.
here is what it sounds like :

Check out this, could be perfect for you. Someone is wanting to swap an afterburner for a quieter exhaust.
