Please help
hello every one ..
im thinking about buying my very first scooby i know nothing about impreza's i have had lexus soarer and volvo T5 but impreza is gona be my 3rd turbo ....
i thought i would ask you guys for precious advice before i go buy ma first scooby....
i was wondering if you would be kind enough to answer my questions..
1. any common faults with scoobies which i should be looking for
2. any tips on what to look for and main key points
my budget is about £2500 i know its not much but i have seen scoobies goin for that kinda price

£2.5k won't buy you a great Scoob - although they do change hands at that level you're asking for trouble IMHO. If you can stretch a bit further I'd be looking for a decent UK Classic, 99 / 2000 MY, reasonable miles, history. There's loads on the market so don't rush - read the threads on here, take your time, kick a fair few tyres. The first one I saw got me hooked - it was a properly chavved up dump valved, bass boxed green JDM WRX - knew I wouldn't buy it when I first saw it, but got such a kick from driving the thing that I knew there could be no other car.
