I'm a proud owner of a modded Sport which puts out 141 BHP at the flywheel - RR'd at Well Lane. Those Sport owners want to log onto the Subarusportsters webpage at yahoo groups and jion the small but growing band of Scooby Sport Drivers

Have a look on http://dyno.scoobynet.co.uk/CAother/grahame_may.htm . There's Grahme May's sport on there which is about 145bhp with a Scoobysport exhaust and a few other bits ! Quite quick - I've been in it...

Hi all from Belgium,
I own a New Age Sport and I know 'zilch' about car engines, really. Give me a 1000 computerparts and I will give you a
running computer, but don't ask me to change a wheel (as a figure of speach of course)
What exactly is a downpipe ? I thought that was something just for the turbo models.
The exhaust manifold is the part of the exhaust that starts at the engine and leads to the midsection, right ?
Anyone ever found a better manifold for the Sport ? Seems
modified manifolds give the beste increase in bhp and torque.
And of course,....chips, SuperChips or UniChip ?
Air induction kits seem to be very popular as well, but my dealer
says a good panel filter gives the same performance. (maybe something that was improved on with the New Age?)
Thanx for any info. (and for reading my lame questions)
^-^
btw. I gotta have to change my nick, what was I thinking!

"The Japanese SRX has more power than the UK Sport cos it has a 4-cam 16-valve engine. The Sport has a OHC 8-valve engine."
Sorry m8, sport has SOHC 16-valve engine! Up to MY 1998 it has 115 bhp, from MY 1999 revised 125 bhp engine (both in standard form).

FSE pump
Icon race chip
Powerflow cat-back
and since the RR'd, I've added
Ecotek
Splitfire plugs
ebc brakes + green pads
vented bonnet for the important cold air
and for the handling
17" R3 (215s)

AND more is definately planned

Druddle,
Car has SOHC engine- single(one) overhead camshaft (OHC) in each head (that means TWO camshaft in all), Turbo engine and japanese version has DOHC on each side, so it is basically quad cam engine!
