Hi, i want to get my car serviced and have a few mods done on it, where in Essex is a good place to go, I'm from Braintree for my old Cosworth i used Engine Advantages in Witham, has anyone took the Subaru there or heard them do any good things with them.

I take mine to Carmedia in Sudbury, not essex I know but not too from you. They know their stuff when comes to scoobys and most hi powered cars. If you want to know where it is let me know

The ESC (Essex Scooby Crew - see regional groups) have done rolling road days at Engine Advantages in the past.

I hear Xtreme Scoobies in Chelmsford are good but I never used them when I had mine.

Been out the scooby group for a while after I sold mine but looking for another so will hopefully be looking for work to be done as well .

Field Motorsport (run by Tommy Field) in SWF also do Scoobs and he is excellent!

There are 3 main places most people in the ESC use:

Mocom Racing - Performance car and trackday products

Essex Subaru Breakers

I have used Mocom and Xtreme and can't fault the service from both, cannot speak for ESB as not used them.

Mocom are in North Weald about 10 minutes from Harlow, Xtreme's are near Chelmsford.

My car is going to Mocom today for some work.

I can highly recommend Special Scoobys in Colchester, I've been there for about 3 services now and had excellent service at a good price.

Well, whichever you choose, it looks like you're spoilt for choice round here, and the main thing is you won't get ripped off by the main dealers!
