Cars you have to own...
Along the lines of the thread 'cars you've had', are there any cars that give you that 'American Beauty' feeling of simply having to own at some point in your life, whether they be aweful or not?
A couple to start us of
Ford Escort Cosworth in white
Ford Mustang Fastback '67 or '68
Ferrari 360 Modena
Morgan Aero 8
TVR Tuscan
Pontiac GTO
Dodge Charger '69
Cant think of anymore must-haves

In my youth I used to deliver the newspaper of a guy who had one of the first Mk1 Golf GTi's in the country, and I desperately wanted one
In the early nineties I used to watch Colin McRae thrashing Rothmans Legacys to within inches of their lives, and I needed to own one of them
I've had 3 Mk1 Golfs (on the lookout for a fourth) and I've owned my Legacy for over 7 years
Unfortunately the other stuff on my list is all divorce-worthy in the eyes of MrsD
1967 Ford Mustang Coupe - Not fussy on the colour
1960 Chevrolet Corvette - Must be in Met Blue with Ivory scallops
Mk2 Ford GT40 - In anything but Gulf Blue
Pre '67 VW Beetle - Cal-looked, with dropped spindles, and a full-house Berg motor and 'box in the boot
Renault 5 Turbo - Just to see if they live up to the hype
Jaguar XJC 4.2 - Primrose Yellow with brown vinyl roof, as close as the '70s ever got to cool
And if the lottery win ever comes off;
either a Ferrari 250GT SWB or, an Aston Martin DB4GT SWB Zagato, two of the most beautiful cars ever created

My main one.. out of a very, very, long list..
Bentley Continental GT - I actually drove the long way back to camp last night JUST so that I could follow one just that little bit longer...
If that isn't love, I don't know what is..
There are many cars that I look at and think "thats a nice car"..
The Bentley I look at and think "I want to be in that car"

not being an **** but the mustang in gone in 60seconds was a Shelby gt500 67-68, different shape the gt350, which was a 64-66 shape, although the gt350b was a 67-68 car
iirc
replicas are £30,000 btw and worht everypenny if you find a good one
