Looking at a (not bug eye) t 2003 wrx sti UK300 prodrive- Is there anyway to tell if its got the full PPP? It has the PPP oz alloys and sti syling. Can't ring subaru today so was wondering if there are any give away signs?

Not sure what you are looking at here.... all UK300s are bugeyes, plus they are WRXs not STis.

I've seen a few STi MY03-05 called WRX STI UK300 on Autotrader, usually dealers that don't know what they've got!

Its Def a wrx-sti type uk. Says on the log book. How can i tell if its a prodrive? the seller claims it is. Has OZ prodrive alloys, prodrive exhaust and it goes like stink?

It should come with a certificate from Prodrive to say it has had the PPP fitted.... best to wait and ring subaru/prodrive and check the chassis number tho. Especially as the people advertising it told you is was a UK300 i wouldn't trust them as far as i could throw them!

And no, the STi type UK do not all come with PPP.

Not if it's a euro import. Prodrive won't supply a certificate (but they will let them have ppp fitted )

I suppose if you think about it all the letters are there:

WRX STI type UK (PPP=300bhp) hence soon becomes STI WRX UK 300..

Although for most enthusiasts this kind of thing seems daft, for the average Joe it's not really surprising. Especially given the number of variations of Impreza there are..!

well its official- FOund the certificate- its a WRX STI type UK with full PPP- Very nice indeed. 40000 miles/ full service history- and its now mine. pics o follow.
