Road = Bridgestone RE070, one of the best dry weather road tyres available, a little more interesting on greasy surfaces though, keeps you on your toes

Track = Bridgestone RE070 no need to change them at all

im with the michelin ps2's you pay a bit extra but they really are worth it.

feel very direct and planted and dont tramline or twich on uneven surfaces.

not as good in standing water as the eagle f1s but very good in the wet and have a progressive controlled brake away on limit.

thought the re070s were good and do have greater overall dry grip but found them twitchy on the limit, not the best in the wet and harder to control once you have exceded grip.

Dunlop SP9000 - v. good wet tire, lowish road noise and wears well.

To be honest, as long as you buy "premium" tyres, I don't think it matters that much.

Not sure how you found the RE070's twitchy on the limit, they are very progessive, and ive worn some out doing some really harsh driving (like took over 1mm off in 50 miles of hard airfield driving though the F1's may seem good, along with the likes of goodyear and Toyo's, they can be prone to the sidewalls failing, something you dont get on the Bridgestones (even with the correct load rating!)

Re070 best dry grip but tram-line, then ps2 good all rounder but not quite as sticky as the REO70`s F1`s edges go quick and toyos just not as good but Ware better than the F1`s.

If you can make a decision on that lot you should come up with REO70`s

More likely there not up to my standard of driving.

Proper commited driving needs proper tyres

They are proper trouble is, most people try to go for a tyre thats "easier" to use rather than a good tyre that can be more "interesting" in certain conditions
Ive outpaced a 190bhp fwd car on a wet twisty road with RE070's on, totally left him and he was trying hard to keep up so as long as you can understand the car and the levels of grip in the conditions (both weather and road) and use them rather than compromising with a lesser tyre, you will be as quick and they also give better feedback than the michelin (and the sidewalls dont go on you )

never found the re070 progressive at all, they were either digging in or you was in a big slide, no gentle drift.
