Question Help on a UK300

Hi

Has anybody ever heard of a 2005 on a "55" plate - UK300?? I've seen one advertised as this for sale but can't find anything about them on the internet. I've only found UK300 registered in 2001.

It says it has a pro drive pack - how can I tell?

Cheers Blan

Yep, on a 55-plate it'll be a WRX 300... its a common mistake for people to make.

I think the PPP Blobeye is 265bhp, you should notice a big difference in how the car drives compared to a stock WRX.

The person should have an installation certificate for the PPP, I *think* if you look just below the bottom left of the intercooler you should see a blue coloured piece of pipework which is part of the PPP (might even have Prodrive written on it, but not sure of that). Also, if its still running the standard PPP exhaust system then the backbox should have "Prodrive" stamped on it.

Cheers,
Grant

Thanks very much

Could you take a look at Well Lane Turbo Centre at the UK300 and see what you think? Looks pretty much the same other than the spoiler. It's the blue 2005 one.

Cheers

It says its sold mate??

It looks nice from the pictures, although, thought that the WRX300's all came with Gold Wheels as standard.. suppose they could have been changed though, specially as the rear spoiler has been changed.

Wheels and spoiler are different from WRX300 standard.

UK300 (2001-2002)

had prodrive spoiler, lights and splitter, also had a unique number.

I know its been sold but that looks a bit suspicious. Why would anyone have a uk300 and change the wheels for bugeye ones and remove the distinctive spotcover stickers. Wasn't there a Euro/Maltese car with similar livery ie blue interior?

Totally agree with all of the above. My WRX300 was 3 weeks away from being a 55 plate but I just couldn't wait.
