If you look at the wheel & tyre packages on Subaru UK site under accessories it gives you the tyre sizes. It actually says 235/40ZR18 I've got a 2003 WRX with Prodrive wheels and the tyres are 225/40ZR18 although the wheels are 7.5 inch wide compared to the PFF7's which are 8 inch. My mate has these wheels on his 02STi but with 225 tyres.

Andy.

I have 4 new Goodyear F1 tyres on my old pro-drive wheels, the tyres are 225/40/18 would I be okay to use these instead of the **** tyres that T&C fitted when I picked her up as they are 235/40/18.

What tyre pressure should I be running?

The P-FF7s are 18" x 8.0 so fitting a 225/40/18 will be a bit of a stretch. I used to have 225/40/18 fitted to my MY03 STi and there was no lip protection at all.

So in answer to your question, yes you can fit then and there will be no problems apart from you get no rim protection so stay away from those curbs.

I`ve just fitted 18inch Prodrive PFF7s with the recommended 235/40/18 tyres, wether you have Prodrive Springs fitted makes no difference at all if its a MY 05

The tyres are on my old PFF7s that I had on my RB5 and look like they are giving a good bit of protection, just a shame they changed the stud pattern as I could have just swap the wheels over.

Would the difference in tyre size effect the speedo?

Colzo

It is a my 05 with prodrive springs
