Sidelight Bulb
#1
Chris,
I think it's HBU501 from Halfords "Exterior/Interior Bulb 12v 5W"
I have the packet in front of me as I am meaning to change mine as one is dim!
Cheers,
JM

Changed mine too this weekend. Does anyone else notice that these bulbs start to go dim after a couple of months, then invariably blow after about 6 months .
- ColinU.
P.S.
Also had to change a blown rear number plate bulb ths weekend (same bulb type as the side light). What a pig of a job! The bolts that hold the lense in place get all the muck of the road thrown on them... i.e. corroded to hell - a mole grip job to remove them!

Erm the "yellow jobbies" are 65p each. No wonder they last six months, they must be like bulbs in your house.
Are the £8 a pair ones much longer lasting?
Whoops, "see lighting section".

I hope you are checking that they are blown!!!
It's just that on my old MY97 car, the nearside sidelight would intermitantly work. A HARD slap to the light usually fixed it, and it turned out to be a loose connection.
