Talking My views on the new Scoobynet website design

Right here goes:-
Having been one of the many ppl who came on here slating mester webmaster for the latest Scoobynet website incarnation, I can now speak with 'experience' and say I am well and truly converted to the new design!
One word, awesome
The way you can now navigate the top bars just under the Scoobynet.com banner is superb. Hovering brings up the links for that bit, etc, etc.
And I do now love the narrower forum design.
I would just like to take this opportunity to say, no I do not know the webmaster, no I am not paid by Scoobynet, and no I am not earning any money from this! LOL.
This is just imho, thats all.
One thing that used to annoy me with the old Scoobynet was the way you could not get away from the post message popping up all the time when you hover over the title area. Petty I know but i can just move off the page completely now and my little brain is at peace!
Thanks for the new design, I will never know the work involved as I do not have the brains to understand any kind of PC or web design/writing.
But this version of Scoobynet is definitely better by far.
And better looking too.

If you could just fix the way it has stopped linking to the latest post when you get an email update I would be one amazingly happy bunny.
You know, you get the email with the link to the latest post in it, you click on the link, and instead of getting to that latest post, you just get bounced to the front page of that thread and have to find your own way to the last posts.
(Yes I am lazy I know)

I agree the top is great, and all the new content... but the fixed width is god-awful.

Turn it off, then - there's an option in your User CP.

I like it too.

I turned the fixed width bit off, but I have now reinstated it and I'm used to it.
