Hello all!

I have just received a mail from Sony regarding their new electronic pet is now on sale in the Uk.

I must admit, I am VERY tempted even though the price tag is somewhat large!

Has ANYONE got one of the first generation Aibo's or know of anyone who has got one!? I would love to hear of people's opinions on these ultimate gadgets!

So i've been told they are fun for about a day and then it wears off. They are not as clever as the hype suggests.

The second generation Aibos are meant to be better and cheaper than the original. I saw one on TV - looks pretty cool (but a tad too expensive for an impulse buy IMO)
