Question Power for a UK Turbo 2000

I have a Classic UK Turbo 2000 with a forge dump valve, ecu re-map, straight through de-cat exhaust and uprated white line suspension.

I want more power, specifically more tourque as now I am used to it I really don’t feel the rush from driving it that I used too.

Best mods to go for?

Preferably not completely braking the bank though.

Look here mate. I'm afriad it will cost though (less for you as you already have most of the parts and the ECUTEK remap licence from your first map! Reliable power isn't cheap!! I can assure you that a 320bhp classic with similar torque certainly does the trick.

I can totally recommend APi and Bob Rawle

I have a classic MY00 uk 2000 with the following.

vf24 turbo
ECUTEK remap (Andy Forrest)
Ported, polished & wrapped headers & up-pipe (Harvey Smith)
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Full 3" straight through Revolution exhaust system including de-cat.
K&N panel filter.

Figures from Andy Forrest are 328bhp/306ft torque.

Phil.

Std is fine up to 320bhp

PS If your DV is a Vent to Atmosphere (VTA) you'd be advised to change it back to a recirculating one as part of your mods prior to the next remap as the car will run better with one of those fitted.
