RB5 window tints-peoples opinion
#1
Anyone I know will tell you that I originally started off by saying it's a limited edition, let's leave it at that. Then....along came the downpipe, centre-section and Morettes - private no. plate just added for Chrimbo present. What the hell, it's our car we'll do what we want - can always be put back at the end of the day.
Enjoy

As I had my last impreza done(MY98). I am wondering if anybody else has done this or seen an RB5 with dark tints. I want opinions as to whether it looks good or does it spoil the credability of a limited edition car.

I plan to do my RB5 next year. I've seen a few Steel blue/Cool Grey cars with tints and they do look good. Just don't go for the full pimp look and only go for the lighter shades

i think it looks good, but to be honest, why do you feel the need to get other peoples opinions?I mod my car the way I like it,I wouldnt go out and spend money,or not spend money because a faceless text on here says they think it looks pants.
just go for it mate, whatever makes you happy,
at the end of the day its you who has to drive round in it.

ps;dont take this the wrong way,no nastiness is meant.

The reason I was asking this question was not for my own mind but really what people thought of modify what is already a limited edition model, or whether to leave as *standard* as Subaru intended.
p.s No nastiness taken

I totally agree with Kim also (Alright m8 ).
I don't have a limited edition or anything but I modify my car & keep all the original parts because if I want to sell it one day I can put them all back on. I can then transfer the mods to a new Scoob or just sell them separately for some extra cash. I think if you are ever forced to trade your car in to a dealer they would be a lot more open to an original spec car as it will be easier for them to sell.
Just go for it, enjoy "YOUR" car.
