Default 96 parts on 94......

Hello All

Is there a difference with parts such as wishbone (Lower Arm), Anti-Roll bar, suspension strut etc with 96 and 94 cars??

I am asking as I have bought a 1994 car that has had a knock on a kerb and has bent all the stuff holding the front wheel on and found parts off a 96 car.

One of the issues are my car has the alloy wish bone and this guy has the steel jobby what is the difference.....Any help is much appriciated.

Thanks

all parts are the same (model for model) however you should replace like for like with the alloy arms.................

by the fact that the parts your looking at have steel arms it would be likely that this car is a UK one and yours is Jap spec?? therfore there will be slight differences with the strut

Well JDM Impreza alloy wishbones of unknown vintage fitted my 94 UK Legacy with no problems, as did MY00 suspension legs and brakes, MY99 rear hubs and a MY98 gearbox & diff.

Based on that, I would be tempted to suggest that if they fit mine, they'll fit yours

There's no doubt that the wishbones fit; the point is that the dampers aredifferent. irrespective of whether they fit or not.
