Why are the interiors different?

Why are the interiors different?
Both cars are listed as UK Sti's but why are the seats different.
Autotrader - SUBARU Impreza 2.5 WRX STi Type UK
and
Autotrader - SUBARU Impreza 2.5 WRX STi Type UK
Is the first picture actually an import of some description as I have looked through autotrader at the newish Sti's at Subaru dealers and the seats are the same as the second, I have found none looking like the first pic.
I hope someone can help.

cos some a55hole getting 100k a year to sit on his *** has to show he is doing something, so he designs a new trim for when he has to report to the board at subaru for what he has been doing the past 6 months

I have heard a few bad things about the company selling these cars. Selling the odd dodgy car and after looking at alot of cars could only find imports with the seats of the top pic and only Uk cars with seats of the bottom pic. I am glad you can tell me there is not different seats for different parts of the world.

Mine is like the top pic too. (seats with the black bolster in the middle front).
I have also noticed that the 2006 models seem to be a bit random with which interior they have though... i have seen some at a respectable dealer where same year cars have the 2 different interiors u posted. Both were also UK models.
I prefer the top one though...

The seats in the bottom pic have side airbags and are less huggy. Usually find these in the UK cars.
The seats in the top pic are the bucket seats and are far better. They could be from a european import which come as an option.
I changed the seats in my 06 STI type Uk for a Spec C interior, vast improvement.
Kept sliding out of the sport seats!!

Its possible that the top car is a Euro import as they are same spec as uk cars and can be described as such but its nothing to worry about unless their asking uk prices.

The top one is a euro import and the bottom a uk car. You can see that the bottom one has the type UK badge on it. Also I would guess that they are for sale at Allbrandsnew or motor depot. I bought my euro import from there and it has the same first 2 letters on the reg plate (Hull).
