Default Removing the teatray on an STi...

I know this may seem like sacrilege but wife not keen on the spoiler fitted as standard to STi's. How easy is it to substitute the smaller one from a WRX on say an 03?

Easier to change the whole bootlid with spoiler as the springs are rated differently and the spoilers have different mounts. I'm sure someone will do a swap if you ask

As I am lazy, I would take it to a dealer and order it all through them - part and fitting. Im sure other people of here will tell you how to do it though.

STI has more holes, and stronger spring.

Someone on here with the same colour car would bite your arm off to do a swap. Of course, if you swap boots totally then your car would also get rid of the nasty 'STI' badging that she no doubt doesn't like either...

Tell her that if she lets you keep it, she can use it as the ironing board.

Someone will swap, but when you come to sell the buyer is likely to want it back and will deduct price.

if its a new car tell the dealer you dont want it, simple!

if its not find someone with a wrx that wants a large spoiler (same colour car) and just swop the whole boot!
