Sorry to hear mate.. hope they sort it ASAP or give you a new car.

Generally un-modded Subarus are one of the most reliable cars around i thought.

What also sucks is the fact you spend 20+ k with a dealer and the car breaks down and the best they can give you is a Matiz f.f.s.

Just imagine how good the Scoob will feel when you get back in it! I can remember being given a Justy to use back in '99 Can't believe it was by the same manufacturer!

When mine was last in at SG Petch i was given a brand new Impreza Sport.
Not a bad car really. My son did comment how quiet it was compared to ours

Mine went back 11 times in just over 2 months, for a missfire.
Fully understand as they gave me a Honda JAZZ or a burn't orange Proton with promotion stickers all over it.
It was worth it when i got the Subaru back though.

Slight tangent: my dad's old Merc went wrong while it was in warranty, took it to the dealer who gave him a courtesy Golf. My dad pointed out, that's hardly fair, if a Golf was all he needed, that's what he'd have bought. "Life isn't fair, Mr Cotton" was the salesmans reply. Fortunately, a manager overheard it, called my dad back later that day, and gave him a courtesy Merc. The Merc belonged to the rude salesman

Perhaps some punctuation might be supplied as a courtesy to other Scoobynet users.
