hi,

I posted before about this...anyway, does
anyone know of a really good, trustworthy
cleaning service that are mobile?

In the Coventry/Brum area would be ideal
I guess.

I really hate the thought of someone having
my car whilst they 'clean' it which is why
I want them to be mobile, so that I can keep
an eye on them.

ta,
matt

Wotcha Mattski

It's not what you want to hear, but I'd always clean the bloody thing myself using WaxWizard stuff.

Failing that, there was a good Valeting place in Leamington Spa that used to do a lot of business for a friend who runs a garage. Can't remember the name but can probably give you rough-ish instructions. Maybe. Erm (rack brains...)

I know... I love cleaning it myself but
have just had hardly any time whatsoever...

so the best thign in a way is to get it
done at work... that way I can keep an eye
on them, tell them to do it again if it's
not good enough ... you get the picture :O)

Mark,

I've mailed you and will call later this
week to arrange some magic.

What I would really like to know, and of
course this is of paramount importance,
is do you wear a complete wizards outfit
whilst cleaning the car?

Let me know if you don't and I'll make one
for you, and expect a discount for my superb
tailoring service. ;o)

matt

Mattski

I clean everything!

First off I soak the car in one of my concoctions. Then it is a full power wash...door jambs etc, wheels, wheel arches, and underbonnet. Wheels removed and inside rims cleaned and wheels put back on. Car is then hand washed twice. The washing etc takes around 1.5hrs!!

Engine bay is then detailed and made to look like new without the use of spray lacquers.

Depending on state of wheels these may be clayed to remove ingrained black dirt.

Interior hoovered out and all personal effect bagged. All vinyl is cleaned and then treated. All glass interior and exterior is also cleaned. Exterior glass is then treated with RainX is desired.

Exterior paintwork is then clayed to remove ingrained contamination and is then cleansed to remove swirl marks etc. Paintwork is then treated to a coating of acrylic paint sealant to seal the paint. This is then followed up with two coats of wax on everything including the headlamps, number plates, driving lamps etc etc.

Any exterior plastics (running boards etc) and all door/shut seals etc are treated. Tyre walls and wheelarches are also dressed.

net resulted a stonking finish that is unbelievably smooth and highly reflective.

Time required is one full working day. I require dry weather or at least somewhere where I can get the car under cover. I also require an out side tap and of course access to an electrical supply.

Time required around 5 to 7 hours. Large stone chips can also be dealt with at the same time (extra) and u must provide the paint stick and possibly a hairdryer. I will fill chips and paint and then level of the blobs. Cant warrant the paint match though.

For prices and respecting bbs manners please email me and I will email back an information sheet. I am not cheap but I think you will find what I do and the expense fully justified.

Packages can be individually tailored.

Regards
Mark (wizard of wax)

Just wanted to add my praise for the Wax Wizard ( aka Mark Underwood ). He came and gave my Impreza the complete makeover on Sunday; what a difference he made. He even sorted out the paint chips for me. A very thorough clean and loads of really super wax, and no mess or residue from the polishing. I am very impressed with the results, especially as virtually no muck stuck to the car on the way to work ( loads of muddy B-roads ). Thanks Mark.
