Thinking of selling!!!! need some advice...
As much as I love my scooby I find myself going at silly speeds round the b roads of North Norfolk, forgot I had my daughter in the car the other day and found myself going frankly too fast! Feel I need to slow myself down. Plus the money would some in handy! So what I need is some quick advice as the prices seem to be all over the shop, what do you think I should advertise it for:
1999 V reg Impreza Turbo Wagon 68,500K, just serviced, FSSH. 3 Owners, totally standard. A few dings in doors, and a dent just by the fuel cap, left by some generous person in London (could get this repaired for £395 with Subaru dealer). Candy Red. in good condition.
I was thinking £6k or less without the repair do you think I should get this repaired beforehand, any opinions?

Yes it is boring. Fed up of seeing these threads pop up in General when they should be in the For Sale sections.
Since I'm here, 6k is way over the top, expect offers of 4.5k

Hi,
I am on ebay and autotrader every night looking for a cheap classic.
There are classics up at £6k but there are also a fair few nice cars at £4k without damage as well.
Not saying you won't sell at that but just saying it's on the higher side.
£5k at Xmas there was a bugeye up.
Another just after at about £5.5 and there was one or two there last night at the £6k mark.
Red does seem a rarer colour to prices may be higher.
I'm no expert... only repeating the info I have seen.
The prices do seem all over.
You see 1993 WRX's still go for £5k on ebay if they have a bodykit and lexus lights... go figure.

It's not scar tactics (sic) at all.

ooohhh I got some replies!!! and no I am not trying to get a 'for sale' plug! It is already on Pistonheads and I plan to put it in the 'trader this week but I was genuinely confused as they seem to be anything from £4k to £7k, I have been advised to leave the dent as it looks more honest!?
It is a genuine standard car in decent condition, not A1 and I am in no hurry so I will hold out for a bit. Thanks guys.
