Default Service History

My car's due for a service soon and i was wondering whether it is worth doing it myself. For example do Subaru use decent items such as plugs, filters and oil compared to performance products i could buy? Also the fact that when i come to sell the car people like FSSH.

My cars a 2002 wrx with PPP.

If you buy performance parts they would most likely be better than what subaru would use, however, you dont get that all important stamp which some people do look for, and me being one of them!

Yeah I would rather have a service stamp too.

If I were buying now again I just would rather trust a car with full service stamps over one that had gaps and the guy said "I did it myself."

The guy may be a top mechanic and totally know what he's doing, but I wouldnt be able to validate that at all.

So if it were me I would think about the resale issue.
