A standard RA I would expect to get in the 13's with a 0-60 somewhere in the very high 4's to low 5's.

My modded Spec C has done the 1/4 in 12.5s and 0-60 in 3.85's.

Many more have done this kind of testing, so I am sure will comment as well.

I have run a 12.33 @112.7 mph, my car is around the 390 bhp, mark, and weighs 1480 kg, your car is around that bhp, but considerably lighter, did you get the 3.85 to 60 mph, or someone else, that is a very good time, i did a 0-60 mph, with another guy in weighing around 16 stone and managed 4.1 in the wet,

Don't understand most of the stuff on it, but here's a pic of my slip from the JapShow finale at Santa Pod:

It was my first ever drag race so I'm happy with it I think I need to learn how to launch though, instead of getting quicker I got slower

IIRC PuffTheMagicWagon was slower on the day in his RA

MY94WRX btw

Been on the drag strip a few times when I had my 04 WRX and did a few runs from standard to modified

Standard 2004 WRX(backbox only) 13.9

Then did a few mods to her and she was rolling roaded at 308bhp 298lb/ft and managed a 13.2@106

Those times where on standard clutch and crap tyres!

managed a 12.6 in my STI3 RA running circa 350bhp

I'm a crap driver and didn't launch too hard so reckon it could do a low 12

Previous best was a 13.6 in my bugeye wrx running around 300bhp

Default temps

I went in jan 06, waste of time, pod is very slippy, worse than the road if under a certain temp, best if temp is between 15-20 oC,

<--Mine must be more or less standard then

I haven't seen a standard STi RA run but with a exhaust and boost controller should be able to make 12.5s and 0-60mph in very low 4s.

3.85s 0 to 60 was someone else but in my car, during some testing at Bruntingthorpe. Personally I have managed a 4.1s, but that was in damp conditions on road type tarmac.

IMHO my car is certainly capable of a lower 1/4 time, as time behind the wheel saw (in relative terms) the 1/4's get better. At Avon Park in cold conditions (i.e. the worst traction I have ever had in 1st and on cold 888's road legal circuit track tyres) I acheived a 12.6...... getting everything poised for 1/4m under the right conditions, should see a drop from the current best of 12.55 (which was done in the height of the summer at TOTB, when it was the first time dragging for 5yrs).

I like the 1/4m, but my car is really setup for track driving.

I agree with the right start in good conditions should see your car get a low 12, how did the other person get the better times to 60 mph, faster gear change etc...

Evo North,

For some reason on the day of testing, I just couldnt get the launch right (it kept bogging down).... it was one of those things (I seem to remember the best I could get that day was a 0-60 of about 4.2). Strange thing was, was every time it has mattered (like in front of people at TOTB and Avon Park) I was fine! For drag run's at the strips I normally manage a 60ft of 1.6s.

Congrates on getting a 12.33 with a weight of 1480kg and 390bhp!
