OK, a really thick question, but wtf is the purpose of that bright button apart from making the time clock slightly brighter?

PS - My instruction manual is in Dutch, so couldn't RTFM.

it's really meant to activiate the optional extra nitrous oxide kit - that you obviously didn't purchase.

it gives a full two second burst of the laughing gas straight into the inlet manifold.

does yours not do this ?? best get down your local dealer.

The word 'BRIGHT' in Japanese means 'TOSSER' - they are 'aving a larf at our expense mate!

It actually makes the poxy headlamps a little dimmer by diverting the light to the clock

ha you fools, pressing a button to get your nos boost.

I got my oral (no coments please) comand set up ( just like out of knight rider) only problem is, wheni want the turbo to kick in at 3000 rpm, i have to shout "TURBO BOOST" and throw myself into the back of my chair, but i have now had my dealer fit the oral NOS kit, and i can now shout "NOSSSSSSSS" and throw myself into the back of my chair, not bad at £2500

Been watching the knight rider clips on bravo all week lol

TURBO BOOST.................

Jeez...This must be one of the most pointless things I have seen in my life (well, kind of!) - I'm just thinking of the time and effort that went into installing a button that is so useless...I mean the clock only gets marginally brighter - not that its invisible in the first place! But my mates are always curious as to what that button does - I think I will put a label saying 'NITRO' on it and say it only functions at 3000rpm!

Also, have any of you got a blank button space next to it? What what meant to be there?

On my MY99 the headlamp washer is sat next to the bright button. And, not only is there a pointless button, but the two buttons that you are only ever going to use at night - are not illuminated. D'Oh!!!

As Catflap says, you should stick "Turbo Boost" on it just like KITT
