You should try a MY00 Classic.
On top of the rattles, got a strange whirring noise coming from the rear somewhere, early signs or a wheel bearing going I suspect, must get it looked at
Still the H&S full de-cat drowns out most of it

On MY 04, I can think of four. One on the dash, one on the passenger door panel, one where the coat hook is on the rear-offside door and a funny rattle/buzz from the boot sometimes.

05 sti, sort of popping like you get when a chiropractor manipulates your joints (nice!) coming from passenger door/window, rattle at front of dash, rattle from the area over the speedo and funny noise from somewhere on the steering when i spin to lock
******* 17 grand and only 11k miles and the thing sounds fcuked (yes, it does **** me off no end!)
i blame the REO70's myself (or maybe i shouyld blame subaru )

No rattles apart from my locking wheelnut key in the ash tray and the scooby trademark of tyre noise resonating with the rear subframe.
The latter is somewhat hard to fix

Just a weird squeaking noise in my bro's classic. Have absolutley no idea where it's coming from, seems to move about all the time, think there's some kinda gypsy mouse in there.....

I attacked my classic with wads of blue tac, hiding them under panels so no one can see Its sorted out the rattling no end, so on pay day im gettin a small roll of dynamat sound deading and will spend a day ripping off the blutac and replacing it with something a little more substantial

Phew..... no real rattles to speak of on my MY05 WRX sportwagon but really bl**dy annoying wind noise which sounds like a kettle on boil as soon as I get the engine on song if you know what I mean. Took it into the dealer under warranty to sort it out - they told me it was fixed after resetting the near side front window! But they added have not been able to test it above 70mph.
So off i went thinking great it's fixed. Got onto the motorway and as i accelerated into the main traffic as soon as I hit 80mph it bl**dy started. They had fixed it alright ...so that it started even earlier than it did before!!!
Anyone got any bright ideas to fix it ???

I have no internal rattles (hurrah) - MY00 - however, I do have the whistling drivers door mirror from 40pmh upwards. It really got to me for the first 3 weeks of owning the car, now I kinda like it. Cant hear it with the window up though so its ok.

MY00 on 69K.
No rattles at all.
RYO, is it the mirror that whistles? My passenger window whistles a bit because theres a missing piece of triangle rubber that somehow got stuck in the window and when it was rolled up this rubber thing came out.
Since then, whistle.
Don't notice it after a while though.

No rattles to speak of on my MY06, but last night had a very short burst on an empty bit of a private test track.
God awful noise came from the windows/wing mirrors around 120. WTF
Anyone else had this ?
Very unlikely to find it again, but annoying all the same.
