Default Limiter Cutting in too soon

I 've got a Garret 28 Series Blower which kicks in at around 3,500 and pulls all the way to 6,000.

Twice today when I was overtaking, the limiter and cut out the engine at 4,000 revs!

Bit scary really, then the orange warning light came on. On both occasions after I'd stopped and locked the Scoob up and went out and about, when I returned it had gone out.

Had a remap 3-4 months ago and very happy with it.

Any ideas? I

'm thinking of doing a bit more work on the scoob down pipes and things and, was going to get it remapped again afterwards. Any advice greatfully accepted.

Kind regards

Car is probably hitting fuel cut due to overboost caused by the cold weather we're having. Turn the boost down until it stops happening and you should be fine.

sounds like the car is going into 'safe mode'. It automatically limits the revs so as not to cause more damage - borrow a s.e.c.s unit and read the fault codes or get it on a diagnostic machine sooner rather than later

Sounds like fuel cut.The CEL will come on with fuel cut-if the CEL annoys you ie you want the light to go out just stop and start it 4 times and it will go out.
