Default TSL 333 Conversion

hi guys,
Having the TSL 333 conversion done to my 2002 WRX in 2 weeks which will give me 280bhp and the same torque figures.( Cant Wait!!!!!!!)
just want to know if any one has had the same done and more importantly what will my new figures be? 0-60mph, 0-100mph 1/4mile time?
Will i get better figures than a standard sti as i will have the same bhp/ftlb but 100kg less weight?
cheers for any help and opinions.

Yup

TSL333 is for STi's. Being a WRX he is therefore not getting the TSL333. Or do they still call it the TSL333? Bit daft if they do?

Although NOT the 333 type package, i only got 268 bhp and 266 ib/ft when i left TSL in my 03 WRX a few years back, so i really do hope you get what you want. It might not be that high, but if it is, superb! Enjoy

TSL MOTORSPORT | Subaru Saab Mitsubishi | parts | repair | servicing | performance tuning | UK
It says it's for the STI 8 and gets you to 62 in 4.6. If a PPP takes a Newage WRX to 4.8 I should imagine this kit to do similar.
I can see the point in a kit like this on a WRX but can't understand why anyone would spend say £1700 on PPP for an 06 STI which would only increase the 0-62 by 0.2 seconds! Surely that's hardly recognisable?!?

i do understand its what they do to the sti to give 333bhp. although im having it done to my standard wrx it still called a 333 conversion. which they say will give me 280bhp. if your being picky!!
My questions still stand though if anyone knows.

Figures from LetsTorqueBHP - Home (assuming 280bhp and weight of 1380kgs) Faster than a std Sti of the same year, yes.

Power at Flywheel (BHP) : 280Weight without Driver (KG) : 1380Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 206.160 - 60 (Secs) : 4.870 - 100 (Secs) : 13.0160 - 100 (Secs) : 8.15Quarter Mile (Secs) : 13.59Terminal Speed (MPH) : 102.17Drag Strip Quarter Mile (Secs) : 13.19Drag Strip Terminal Speed (MPH) : 105.44

i don't think it will be faster than a sti (standard)
the sti has 6 speed gearbox and closer ratio's

But requires one omre gearchange than WRX to hit 60

The WRX PPP is actually quicker to 60 (4.8 secs) than the std STi (5.2) and has less than 280bhp.

Do bare in mind though, these figures probably reflect best expected performance and trying to reproduce them would involve being absolutely brutal with the car!! Not good for transmission longevity!

0-60 times don't reflect the power of a car really ,its the mid range 60+
when you can tell how fast a car is

Ns04 simply said it was faster to 60 (if you believe the official figures). Since the standard Sti has around 265 bhp and the wrx ppp has the same I would expect there wouldn't much in it when booting it under the same set of conditions. The wrx ppp may even have a slight edge, and I do mean slight.

30-70 and 60-100 through gears is by far the best indicator..

My mate had a TSL 333 conversion done (was an STi) tho.
It was fantastic, but the biggest difference they made to his car was that they set the suspension geometery for him (had recently been done by main dealer, when they fitted his Prodrive springs) and it tranformed the car, best £40(ish) that you can spend on a Scoob. imho.

Cant Fault TSL in any way, the 333 is really for an STI
but 280 is v good for wrx,

Go Graham and crew!
