I refill using the dipstick tube and a funnel. A bit tricky to start but once the first litre or so has been poured it's smooth sailing. Or easier still you can purchase a oiling pump of which you transfer directly to the same tube, good investment not that pricey either.

mid section under tray off, big drain plug.
filling i use a piece of garden hose (fits into dip stick tube ) funnel on the end of the hose and nice and gently pour away.
rear diff is fun as well

basically a 18" long 1/2" drive swivel bar with uber amount of force. feels like you are going to snap the diff casing in half.
drain old oil out, to fill i use a little hand pump from draper (couple of quid, looks like a bellow with a pipe out of either side) because you don't have the clearence to tip a bottle of oil up high enough to actually get the stuff in !!!!
pump is also handy when changing power steering fluid for sucking out the old sh!te.
