Default Picked up my WRX Sti yesterday

Hi all

Picked up my latest addition to the garage. Drove it 600kms home without much hassles.

Car is running at 1,2 bar boost which i've been told is standard. Very rewarding, very satisfying and amazed at the practicality. Engine seems to be stock as well.

Curse those 180km/h speed limiters!!!!!

But it is very heavy on petrol. About the same as the GTR. Probably just the way the Japanese fuel maps are - very rich. This weekend will pull it out against my stock GTR - VIDEOCLIPS next week hopefully.

60 litre tank at a constant 160km/h (with few acceleration runs in between) yields about 320km/h - translates to around 18 litres per hundred !!

check it out

Actually.. we definitely do need plates!

These are pics of the car when at the port of loading and the port of discharge. It was released from the shipping yard with a temporary road permit.

This is valid for 21 days.

Thanks for all the kind comments. The car is in very very good nick. Just the dumba$$es at the port have damaged the paintwork and stolen the very expensive stereo system. Thankfully the turbotimer is still there.

Can you guys please advise if 1,2bar boost is about right? The memory button on the boost gauge shows that 1,3bar was hit on one run, but i been monitoring this and it is mostly between 1,1 bar and 1,2bar under full throttle.
