Cup holder
#1
I realise that this is probably heresy ( - a bit like disabling the Bright switch? ), but is it possible to remove the cup holder in the central armrest box thingy? Methinks the box might be a bit more useful if you could actually put stuff in it!

Pete,
I removed mine by gently prising it out with a small electrical screwdriver and managed not to break it either (the cup holder, I mean, not the screwdriver. Now I can fit cans of de-icer etc so it's much more useful

Raymond,
When you say that you prised it out, do you mean that it's not actually fixed to anything, ie, it's only a push fit?
Tony,
It's a MY00, so I've got one already, thanks. It's still pretty useless though, IMO, but at least that one doesn't take up any space.

Pete,
It's quite obvious when you look closely at it.You have to prise the centre part out of its runner/guide - the bit that it slides up and down as you open and close it. Think I'd better stop there.........
