Cool Newbie

Wotcha guys and gals,

Just thought i'd be polite and drop a line to say hi.

Hi.

I've got a 05 WRX in blue (aren't they all?). I bought it new as a parellel import and am now thinking of mild tuning to keep me interested.

Hope to chat to you all at some point

Rob

Welcome to SN.

First things first. How much do you have to spend on mods so that we can all spend the money for you?

Wotcha.

I'm a squaddie based either in Germany, Devon or Iraq.
The tuning situation in Iraq is a bit poor to say the least.

Money is no object cos I never have any to spend anyway

Thanks for taking the time to say hello.

Hello

Start with a Whiteline 22mm rear ARB and some solid links, then add some better (Ferodo) pads and maybe Goodridge braided lines and DOT5.1 fluid. Then start on the power with a decat centre and nice burbling BB. If you want to really enjoy it, get a decat up-pipe, and either a decat or sports cat down-pipe and then a remap.

Come speak to me mate, I'll point you in the right direction. First things first, stayaway from the ****hole outside camp that call them selves a tuning shop.

PM me and I'll pop round and see you or give you my number.
