**** me shes repaired and back on the road then, was our old track car, good engine in that one, it took a whole years thrashing without missing a beat, was on castle coombe for atleast 25 laps every meeting

well it was untill well we hit the tyre wall lol, about the only thing i can fault with it was the gearbox mounts were bodged, i bought it damaged and had to have it jigged, it was only 35 mm out though, the turbos not much cop tho, well it started to smoke on overun towards the end of its life with us


change the suspension as i believe the chap who bought it from us put bits from several cars on it so i know shes a bit of a bitza, bushes will prob need replacing by now too, is the diff still ever so slightly whiney? i believe he bought some temp repair oil for it


i had good times in that car, we had money on who got the fastest in the straights, i used to take it right to its limits, its had a v hard life but should imagine loadsa life left in it yet

yeah yeah i was waiting for the wind ups new someone out their wouldnt be able to resist it,
found a receipt in it today with previous owners phone number been speaking today with him receipts on their way for engine rebuild recently done
dont mind the wind ups but i am genuinly trying to find out history

there is a few on here somewere that some chap took at the coombe last year, if i remember rightly there was 3 of em, one coming out of the quarry somewhat powering out and other two on the straight
but sorry havent got any myself, used to have black wheels if that helps jog anyones memory



tell ya what i have got though is the original steering wheel from it and ashtray etc if ya want it

what steering wheel did you fit and what intercooler if you havent read the other thread,? where did you tax the car as i have previouse tax discs

i never taxed it as bought it with tax, and sold it just expired, we used to trailer it to meets, think it was a momo wheel, black foam type

is there still a nice scratch scrape on the side? i done it loading it onto a beavertail truck lol
