Yeh its a good pipe, I've got one on my classic, the flow is only slightly worst to a normal decat dpipe, considering it has a 100cell cat in it, that's pretty good. My classic produced 265bhp n 272lb/ft with tek3 remap, this dpipe and a magnex centre pipe. The car will still pass the mot with it to.

I got one of these on the recent group buy, nice peice of kit - Havn't had it fitted yet though. Where you've circled is there a screw sticking out into the pipe ? - because there is on mine. If yes any idea's why it's there ?.

the hole is for the lambada sensor if that aint fitted the ecu will go nuts and put wrong fuel and air mixture into the cylinders

No you misunderstand - it's not the hole for the lambda sensor I'm talking about. It's a small screw coming out of the sidewall of the pipe.

I have one of these fitted to my 1995 Wrx, My lambada sensor isn't where that hole is so put a bung in it

The Ninga downpipe has just been realeased, however i think its too early to comment on a comparision, but i have read they both are very similar, and there is a huge price difference between the two..

Looks more like a blob of weld or similar. Just hasn't been cleaned up very well. (at all?).

It's not a blob of solder....... it's a screw sticking out of the sidewall.

Nobody else got this on there ninja d/p then ?

Its actually a piece of metal sticking out the side of it. I've been told to grid it off, but I will just ask Derek at Zen what he thinks is best to do with it. Scoobyworld isnt that far from them, so it wouldnt take long to swap over.

just picked up on this thread, the Ninja DP certainly shouldn't have a 'screw' sticking out of it.

You get that with welding it just a weld blob .If you have a steady hand use a die grinder and buff it smove .You will need a good stone with it being staniless it pretty hard stuff.Its tacked together before welding

My D/P is getting fitted by Xretreme on the 10th, so we'll find out wether it's a screw/ blob of solder / or whatever. I'll let you all know

I am a welder and thats a weld blob just formed into a point

imho Dipsy is right. It is a tack weld or a simple hot spot during the welding.
Grind it smooth, or it will be a very hot spot when the engine is at full chat.

Real downside with this and the TSL is they don't do a 3'' right through. The 2.5'' neck is a prob for those over 350 bhp.
