First post and im Thread robbin!!!

im goin to look at a 1996 subaru type ra tomoro and it has a full decat 4inch club buddy system onto a decat hks downpipe and hks headers quite a system if i say so myself!

just how the hell am i gona get it legal?

iv been admiring this free flow cat DP since it came out but didnt want to void warranty on my new age scooby...

but will this ninja downpipe fit with the rest of the exhuast system on the type ra im thinkin of buyin?? quite a difference from standard subaru 2.5inch bore and the 4inch on the car at the mo will it fit lol

as i dont think replacing the centre cat will do enough for MoT?

car is coming with not the orignal exhaust but a less crazy one if im lucky it mite have a cat with it

Welcome to the Snet.

Looking at your description above, just my thoughts.

I do not know to anyone making a 4 inch DP.
The back box pipe diameter is NOT always the diameter of the exhaust system.

The Ninja is 2.5 inch at the place it meets with a stock system, and 3'' up to that point.
Usually all the systems (if 2.5'') will simply bolt-up to the Ninja.

The RA will perform well with those headers, a Ninja Sport Cat and a good 2.5'' system and back box, ie the famous Scoobysport back box.
Not too loud but nice burble.

the Dp isnt 4inch i meant the rest of the system is what diameter you recon tha hks downpipe is goin at?
