NOTICED THAT APEXI POWER FC WITH CONTROLLER IS AVAILABLE VERY CHEAPLY COMPARED TO A FEW YEARS AGO. THINKING OF FITTING ONE TO MY1994 WRX TO FINALLY STOP USING OCTANE BOOSTER AND TO HOPEFULLY GAIN SOME POWER. HOWEVER GETTING MIXED REPORTS ABOUT THIS ITEM ALTHOUGH ITS USED ON MANY VERY POWERFUL MACHINES FEATURED IN MAGAZINES. IS ANYONE RUNNING A CLASSIC WRX WITH THIS ITEM AND WHAT S THE VERDICT?

Running an Apexi on my MY95 with good results. The hand controller is very useful for monitoring how the engine is running.

The PowerFC is a very highly regarded ECU- but its only as good as the person who maps it.

I was thinking of using one on my 96. But I opted for the ECU that Steve Simpson is selling instead, because I'd heard a few horror stories about the ignition and boost control on the PFC.

Chuffed to bits with the ECU he supplied - can def recommend it !

i own a 93 wrx with an apexi mapped by jolly green monster, the car runs really well and id highly recommend one and him to map the car for you.
